3 people helped from stuck elevator inside Butler parking garage [Video]

No one was injured, according to an IFD spokesperson.

INDIANAPOLIS — Three people stuck in a malfunctioning elevator on the Butler University campus were assisted Friday evening by Indianapolis first responders.

According to a social media post by the Indianapolis Fire Department, it happened around 8 p.m. inside a parking garage at the corner of Sunset Avenue and Lake Road.

The occupants were helped from the lift by an IFD crew. There’s no word on why the device became stuck.

 No one was injured.
