TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – Ahead of schedule and on budget – that’s how Tuscaloosa city councilman Norm Crow describes the McWright’s-Ferry Road expansion, but to help things move along, a temporary road closure is coming up that you need to know about.
We’re talking about a half-mile section of Rice Mine Road very close to the actual construction site of the McWright’s-Ferry Road expansion.
Road crews say this closure is necessary because a lot of dirt has to be moved that’s part of the overall project.
The temporary closure of that section of Rice Mine Road begins at 8:30 a.m. on November 22 through November 27.
