The Burke High School Alumni Association has inducted seven people into its Hall of Fame.
They are:
Patrick Drickey, Class of 1967: Drickey is an award-winning photographer, published author, businessman and owner of Gallery 1516, a non-profit art gallery and exhibition space in Omaha dedicated to Nebraska and regional artists. Gallery 1516 supports a wide-array of artists through fundraising and community engagement, without charging artists commission fees.
Rebecca Noble, Class of 1972: A former music educator and professional actor, Noble is currently the executive director of the Omaha Community Playhouse, and excited to be a part of forming an arts district in Omaha. Noble is most proud of the steps taken to be more inclusive and celebrate the many different cultures that make up the Omaha community.
