PS5 Pro South African pre-orders start on 1st November [Video]

• PlayStation South Africa has confirmed that local pre-orders of the PS5 Pro will go live on 1st November 2024.
• The next-generation console carries a recommended price tag of R19 499.
• It will go on sale locally on 13th December 2024, but limited quantities are expected.

Last month PlayStation revealed its next-generation console in the form of the PS5 Pro complete with a $700 price tag. At the time local availability and pricing was yet to be disclosed, with the prospect of the higher-specced iteration of PlayStation 5 landing in SA still up in the air.

Now PlayStation South Africa has confirmed the local details of the PS5 Pro, which will go up for pre-order on 1st November 2024.

As with its predecessor, which debuted during a global pandemic, PlayStation has been careful to point out that limited quantities will be made available locally.
