Morehouse College junior Jayden Mango dies in car crash [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Morehouse College is in mourning after one of its students died in a car crash on Thursday, the school said on social media.

Jayden Mango was a junior majoring in Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media Studies and minoring in education. The school said he was passionate about storytelling and “enriched the lives of everyone around him.”

“Jayden was a vibrant member of our campus community, known for his creativity, kindness, and dedication to his studies,” the school said in a statement. “The passing of such a bright, promising young man is deeply felt across our entire community. We ask that you keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss.”

The college said its Morehouse Counseling Services team can be reached by calling (470) 639-0231. Morehouse will soon release information about a memorial service for Mango.
