Coopersville wins first River Cities Alliance title over Cedar Springs [Video]

(WXMI) — Coopersville wins the first River Cities Alliance title beating Cedar Springs 35-21. The Broncos got off to an early lead, marching right down the field on their opening drive and senior QB Beau Harris scoring on a four-yard touchdown run. Harris had four total touchdowns in the first half and went into the break up 28-7.

In the second half, the Broncos added on Isaac LeMieux scored on an 11-yard touchdown run. Cedar Spring cut into the lead but Coopersville won 35-21.

Both teams will make the playoffs in Division 3 and will see where they are heading on Sunday during the MHSAA football selection show.
