BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst has delighted her followers with an exciting career twist – swapping the news desk for storytelling on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
The popular presenter and mother of three is joining a prestigious roster of celebrities, including Tom Hardy, Derek Jacobi, and George Ezra, who have all graced the children’s programme with their narrations.
Nina, known for her appearances alongside Charlie Stayt, Jon Kay, and Roger Johnson on the BBC Breakfast couch, met with Welsh Cbeebies star Rebecca Keatley on set as she geared up to enchant young viewers with a bedtime tale, reports The Sun.
Taking her own little ones along for the adventure, Nina shared on Instagram Stories that this was the rare occasion they showed enthusiasm for her work, quipping: “It was the one and only time they have taken any interest in Mummy’s job.”
