Former NBA star Jerrod Mustaf dies at 55 [Video]

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Former NBA star and Whiteville native Jerrod Mustaf has died, according to the Maryland Men’s Basketball Twitter page.

“With great sadness we learned of the passing of Jerrod Mustaf today. Forever a Terp, a teammate, and a friend,” the post states.

Mustaf was born in 1969 where he lived for 13 years before moving to Hyattsville Maryland.

WECT had Mustaf as a guest for its podcast in 2022.
