The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International has released its latest floor measurement standard, BOMA Gross Areas: Standard Methods of Measurement (BOMA Z65.3).

The Gross Areas Standard was published in response to calls for a standard that is able to measure forms of occupancy other than office buildings and can be applied to a wide range of building types. This 2024 update is a more comprehensive yet natural evolution of the previous BOMA 2018 BOMA Gross Areas Standard.
