Mohamed Salah has caused Liverpool fans to go into panic mode after alluding to a potential exit from Liverpool.

Salah scored a brilliant winner in Liverpool’s 2-1 comeback win over Brighton at Anfield on Saturday.

Reflecting on the victory, Salah posted on X: “Top of the table is where this club belongs. Nothing less. All teams win matches but there’s only 1 champion in the end. 

“That’s what we want. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like.”

Salah’s current Liverpool contract is set to run out in June 2025 but Reds fans have not given up trying to convince their star to sign another deal.
