Raccoon falls from ceiling at LaGuardia Airport [Video]

(CNN) – Travelers at New York’s LaGuardia Airport got a furry, four-legged surprise Monday morning.

A raccoon fell from the ceiling near a Spirit Airlines gate.

A video of the critter clinging to a cable was shared on social media.

An eyewitness says the raccoon fell and then ran around the area for a few minutes before crews were able to get it outside.

Spirit Airlines issued a statement saying it is addressing the incident with a professional wildlife control company.

There were no injuries reported.
