Site plans filed for TAMU’s indoor tennis facility in Bryan [Video]

Site plans for an indoor tennis and multipurpose facility at Midtown Park in Bryan that will be used by the Texas A&M tennis teams has been submitted to city officials.

Online documents show the 45,499-square-foot building will be located to the west of Midtown Park Boulevard and south of Williamson Drive, just north of the newly rebranded Topgolf facility. The project will include 182 parking spaces.

It’s been a slow process for the indoor tennis facility to come together. The project is a collaboration between A&M and the city of Bryan.

In July 2023, the Bryan City Council approved a 30-year agreement with A&M, which will pay the city $675,000 per year to use the facility. In October 2023, the council approved a $17 million budget for the project. City officials previously said plans were for the project to be completed by August 2025.
