Maye Musk, Elon Musk’s mother, is making headlines for several controversial statements she recently made about the tech titan.

Maye, 76, appeared on Fox Business Network on Tuesday, November 26, to discuss her son’s close relationship with president-elect Donald Trump — and how labels like “billionaire” and “wealthy” are disparaging to her son.

Maye told the outlet that Elon, 53, was having an amazing time planning the new Department of Government Efficiency alongside Vivek Ramaswamy and socializing with Trump, 78. “I’ve seen [Elon and Trump] together, but very shortly,” she explained to Fox Business anchor Stuart Varney. “I live in New York, and they’re in Mar-a-Lago or at a SpaceX launch, and they just seem to be having fun.
