Steinfeld is now providing more details through her Beau Society newsletter with a Q&A of the Buffalo Bills quarterback. At one point she asked, “What is the funniest/craziest thing that happened on the day we got engaged(!)?”

Allen replied: “The funniest thing was that we woke up and were getting ready for brunch, and you jumped on the bed and said, ‘Can we get married already?!? What are you waiting for??!’ I replied, ‘Just give me a little more time.’ Little did you know I was about to propose to you.”

Steinfeld asked Allen about his nerves before popping the big question, whether he remembered what he said when he was on one knee, how he felt immediately afterward, and how he feels about being engaged.
