CHARLOTTE — PopUp Bagels has set its sights on the Queen City. The Connecticut-based restaurant chain — with the tagline “not famous but known” for its New York City-style bagels — has plans for 10 franchise locations across North Carolina.
It has tapped Alabama-based Power Brands Hospitality Group to lead its expansion into the Southeast. Power Brands’ Todd Gallinek says he’s ready to share PopUp Bagels’ one-of-a-kind bagel experience in the Tar Heel State.
“From the first time we tasted PopUp Bagels in NYC, we knew they were something truly extraordinary — every bite showcases an unparalleled dedication to quality and flavor,” he says. “We can’t wait for our community to fall in love with these freshly baked bagels and creative schmear flavors.”
