Joy Reid Blasts Jesse Watters for Blaming Wildfires on ‘Indians’ [Video]

MSNBC’s Joy Reid ripped conservative pundits over their reaction to the ongoing wildfires in Southern California, which many have blamed on their preferred bugbears.

Whether the culprit being fingered is budget cuts, DEI initiatives, the endangered delta smelt, or poor land management, all these narratives ultimately implicate Democratic leaders of Los Angeles and California in general, particularly Governor Gavin Newsom.

On Monday’s ReidOut, the host took exception to comments by Fox News host Jesse Watters, whom she called one of “right-wing billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s puppets.”

Reid said Fox hosts “blamed everything from DEI and the mayor [of Los Angeles] being Black and the L.A. fire chief being a lesbian to – and I am not joking here – the indigenous for the fires.”

The host then aired a clip from the Jan. 8 edition of Jesse Watters Primetime.
