Keyboard & mouse adapter use is ‘nefarious behaviour’ according to Marvel Rivals dev [Video]

As Marvel Rivals continues its massive wave of success and transitions into its Season 1 of content, developer and publisher NetEase Games has released an official statement about keyboard and mouse controllers.

The statement, originally released on the official website for the game and more recently on the Steam announcements page, essentially calls use of said adapters cheating before explaining what they deem to fall under this category. Several specific models of adapters are also mentioned by name.

“We define keyboard and mouse adapters as the use of software or hardware to mimic controller inputs with a keyboard and mouse. This method can grant an unfair edge in competitive play, for example, harnessing high sensitivity with the aim-assist features,” the announcement reads.
