Ariana DeBose No Longer In Talks To Lead EVITA in London Due to Scheduling [Video]

Variety has reported that Ariana DeBose is no longer in talks to star in Evita in London “due to scheduling.” BroadwayWorld previously reported that DeBose was in talks to star as Eva Peron in the revival of Evita at the London Palladium, coming this year. DeBose is currently shooting the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Scarpetta’ starring Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita, directed by Jamie Lloyd, will be presented at The London Palladium from June 14- September 6, 2025.

DeBose had previously stated “if you’re going to do a revival of a property that is well known and well loved, it’s paramount to have a new vision, a new way in for today’s audiences.”
