As Boyfriend Proposes, Woman Looks at Him and Realizes Something Is Wrong [Video]

A couple’s moment of engagement, secretly filmed by friends, has gone viral online, but not for the reason you might think.

Angelina Camacho and fiancé Josh Towell, who live in South Florida, recently celebrated becoming engaged after dating for nine months. Towell’s proposal was caught on camera as the couple’s friends hid and recorded the special moment in a sunlit park by a lake. It was like something straight out of a romance novel.

But it turned into a romantic comedy when Camacho got caught up in the moment and took Towell’s sunglasses from his face.

“I was thinking, Oh my God, I look weird in his reflection, I wonder if it’d be funny if I tossed them away,” Camacho told Newsweek.

And when he didn’t take off the glasses himself as he proposed, the idea took hold. As she put it: “He hasn’t taken them off, I’m gonna do it!”
