Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts took to social media after they believed Tasha Ghouri made a slip-up, joking that she shattered the ‘illusion’ of the results show being live on Sunday evening with a single remark.

The ex-Love Island celebrity had another triumphant night in the ballroom over the weekend as she graced the dance floor once again with her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

They kicked off the week eight live show on Saturday night with a quickstep routine to Mariah Carey’s song Fantasy. Head judge Shirley Ballas said: “Tasha and Aljaz offered everything we needed to see in a quick step.”

Clearly impressed with their dance, the judges awarded them a total of 37 points, this score placed them at the top of the leaderboard, tied with JB Gill and Lauren Oakley.
