For several months, Nathaniel Deleon called in 23 related swatting incidents to Cumberland County police, the majority of which impacted a minor he was targeting.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A California man has pleaded guilty to making a bomb threat hoax in connection to a retaliation campaign against a Cumberland County minor in 2023. 

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Nathaniel Sean Deleon, 20, from Tulare, California, pleaded guilty on Dec. 18 to a two-count criminal information charging him with distribution of child pornography and making a bomb threat hoax. 

According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, court documents and statements show that Deleon met the then 16-year-old on the gaming platform Roblox and began an online relationship.
