Another major retailer is closing all of its Canadian stores.
Johnston & Murphy, a U.S. footwear and clothing company, announced it is shutting all of its Canadian stores and e-commerce site as of Jan. 18.
“We are sad to announce that our ecommerce website for Canada has closed, and we are not accepting orders for shipment in Canada,” a notice on the Canadian Johnston & Murphy website reads. “Our Canadian retail stores will be closing for business on January 18th.”
In the GTA, Johnston & Murphy stores are at Toronto’s TD Centre, 66 Wellington St. W., Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga, CF Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, Vaughan Mills and Burlington’s Mapleview Centre.
There was a location in Alberta at CrossIron Mills near Calgary, which is marked as permanently closed on Google.
