WASHINGTON — Not only did the Commanders score a win against the Falcons on Sunday securing them the sixth spot in the playoffs. But love also won the day, as safety Jeremy Reaves proposed to his girlfriend Mikaela Worley.
The newly engaged couple spoke to WUSA9’s Simone De Alba and Lorenzo Hall on Wednesday about the proposal.
Worley, a certified physician assistant, originally from Pensacola, Fl., said she was not expecting a proposal on Sunday.
“I had absolutely no idea what was happening,” Worley told WUSA9 on Wednesday about the proposal. “When I was on the field, I thought we were going to take a picture. It wasn’t until I saw him get on one knee that I was like, ‘this is happening.'”
