NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Green Hills jeweler is being sued by a local couple. Dawson Blankinship dropped off a ring at the jeweler, which the jeweler said was later stolen.
The company maintains it followed proper procedures, but the couple said they were mistreated.
Blankship dropped off what would be an engagement ring for his then-girlfriend and never saw it again.
“I feel very betrayed,” Blankinship said. “I want her to look at her hand and be like, ‘This is so special.’”
The couple said the ring was passed down to Chelsea from her grandmother and aunt. “The two women before me had put their own stones in the center,” Chelsea said.
