Deputy with LaRue County Sheriff passed away [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A deputy at LaRue County Sheriff’s Office passed away while on duty.

LaRue County Sherrif’s Office announced on their social media the passing of Deputy Nick Green. Deputy Green suffered a fatal medical issue while on duty with the Sheriff’s Office. 

According to the new release, it is unknown at the time the cause of his death.

“Deputy Green was a 7-year law enforcement and was a great asset to the Sheriff’s Office,”  Sheriff Brian Smith said in a release. “He was liked by all that knew him. Deputy Green brought smiles to faces every time he worked, and we will miss him very much. Please keep Nick’s children, and family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this horrible tragedy.”
