Drivers frustrated with 96th Street and Allisonville Road roundabout [Video]

FISHERS, Ind. — The intersection at 96th Street and Allisonville Road was recently reconstructed into a roundabout, but not everyone is happy about the change.

Since it opened in late October, drivers have taken to social media expressing frustration and safety concerns.

One person writing on the NextDoor app, “It’s a super dangerous intersection now because of the roundabout. No one knows what to do. I went around it and was freaking out the entire time.”

Another person posted, “A terrible mistake for the amount of traffic at that intersection.”

“There was nearly a multi-car chain reaction when someone stopped in the middle of it,” read another post. 

The City of Fishers says the project aims to improve traffic flow.
