TOLEDO, Ohio — The U.S. Supreme Court has less than a week to make a ruling on the much discussed law which would affectively ban the social media app TikTok in the U.S. This has left many to debate whether the risks of using the app outweigh the benefits.
Last year, President Joe Biden signed House Bill 75-21 into legislation due to rising concerns from the government related to national security. The bill focused on protecting Americans’ data from foreign adversaries that own apps, like TikTok and its parent company, Bytedance.
