CUSTOMERS have been left heartbroken after a long-standing store in Derry city confirmed they would be shutting their doors for the final time.

Family-run McLaughlins Hardware, which has been open for 111 years and has raised three generations of a family, confirmed last week that they’re set to close at the end of November.

The store, located on William St, Derry, Northern Ireland, was established in 1913 and has become well-known over the years for its “top quality and friendly service.”

The owners took to Facebook to announce the sad news, stating that “the time has come to move on” and the store will close its doors for the final time at the end of November.
