Example reveals girlfriend Daisy Cox has given birth to their ‘absolutely perfect’ first child together four weeks early on New Year’s Day [Video]

British musician Example surprised social media followers by confirming the birth of his third child on Wednesday – his first with girlfriend Daisy Cox.

The star, whose real name is Elliot Gleave, began dating art advisor Cox in 2023, just five months after announcing his separation from former wife Erin McNaught, with whom she shares two children. 

Taking to Instagram on New Years Day, Example, 40, revealed the couple have since welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, in a series of Instagram posts.

Sharing the news with followers, the musician – who relocated to Australia from his native London more than a decade ago – confirmed Daisy had gone into labour a month ahead of her estimated due date. 

He wrote: ‘Lucas Winter Cox Gleave. Aka Lukey Baby… aka Gorge Lucas. 01.01.25.
