Facebook and Instagram experience major outage | Top Stories [Video]

Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta-owned platforms experienced outages on Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., users trying to access Facebook received a message stating, “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”

DownDetector reported a spike in outage reports across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Threads around 10 a.m.

The cause of the outage remains unclear.
