Fargo Police to promote safety and spread holiday cheer with new campaign [Video]

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Fargo Police announced a new campaign Tuesday.

It’s called Police Navidad. The festive initiative aims to promote holiday safety and strengthen connections with the community.

The campaign will feature engaging social media content, community events and charitable activities.

Throughout Police Navidad, officers will take part in a number of community holiday events, including:

– Cookies with Claus hosted by LTD on Nov. 29 at the FARGODOME

– Holiday Lights Parade on Dec. 7 in downtown Fargo

– Salvation Army bell ringing on Dec. 10 at West Acres Mall

– Shop with a cop hosted by the Fraternal Order of Police on Dec. 18

In addition, Fargo Police will host several family-friendly activities in collaboration with community partners:

Children’s Storytimes at Fargo Public Library locations:

– Monday, Dec. 2: Main Library (10 a.m. and 11 a.m.)

– Tuesday, Dec. 3: Northport Library (10 a.m.)

-Wednesday, Dec. 11: Carlson Library (10 a.m. and 11 a.m.)
