The FBI issued a warning to professional sports leagues about organized theft groups targeting professional athletes. The warning comes after burglaries at the homes of at least nine professional athletes, including Milwaukee Bucks player Bobby Portis. Portis said in a recorded video, “I had a home invasion, and they took most of my prized possessions.”Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is the latest reported victim. Doncic’s manager said the break-in happened Friday night. That’s when the Mavericks played the Phoenix Suns. Doncic’s manager says thieves stole nearly $30,000 in jewelry.
