First responders find dead body at St. Augustine Beach home [Video]

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. — First responders found a person dead while investigating a St. Augustine Beach house fire, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., SJCSO and St. Johns County Fire Rescue Coral Circle on Anastasia Island. They found a dead body inside the home, a social media post said.

There is no threat to the community and the official cause of death is pending an autopsy by the District 23 Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is active.
