Florence Pugh opened up about some health struggles that have changed her life forever.
The 28-year-old actress appeared on the SheMD podcast episode that premiered on Monday, November 19 with hosts, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney.
Pugh revealed that she met Dr. Aliabadi a year prior, shortly after having a “sudden feeling that [she] should get everything checked.” That is when she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis – which can heavily impact fertility.
Pugh shared that the diagnosis came after Dr. Aliabadi conducted an egg count on her. The results prompted the doctor to suggest that the actress freeze her eggs if she planned to have children one day.
