The restaurant says the exact date of their grand opening is still up in the air, but they plan on opening within the next year.
MACON, Ga. — Stuffed French toast, breakfast tacos and delicious biscuits are coming to Mulberry Street in downtown Macon early next year. That’s because the Flying Biscuit Cafe is working to open its first location in Central Georgia.
The chain — which emphasizes its all-day breakfast menu — was founded in Atlanta and has grown to over 25 locations.
“It’s an experience. We serve southern comfort food with a side fun,” Flying Biscuit’s Marketing Director Heather Stennis said.
The location in Macon is being opened by the owner of the Flying Biscuit Cafe in Columbus, Georgia State Senator Jason Esteves. His location in Columbus has been in operation for roughly a year, Stennis said.
After doing well in Columbus, Stennis said Esteves saw Macon as an opportunity.
