SHERBURNE COUNTY, Minn. — A former Twin Cities youth volleyball coach admitted to using social media and text messages to persuade underage girls into sexual activity and producing child pornography for nearly a decade, according to court documents.
Dorian Christopher Barrs, 32, pleaded guilty on Monday to two counts of producing child pornography from October 2014 to March 2024.
The U.S. Attorney’s office said Barrs used his position of trust as a coach to exploit minors, engaging them in sexually focused conversations on social media and then coercing them to engage in sexual activity with him.
