Former Southern Hills general manager selected to operate City of Tulsa golf courses | News [Video]

TULSA, Okla. — Former Southern Hills Country Club General Manager Nick Sidorakis has been selected to operate the City of Tulsa’s Mohawk and Page Belcher golf courses.

The City said the selection follows a bidding process for a new management agreement for the golf courses. The bidding process was opened due to changes in the golf course market.

The City received nine submissions, including eight from national firms.

“Nick and his partner Randy Heckenkemper have demonstrated a history of understanding and supporting City golf courses, and I can’t think of anyone witha more intimate knowledge of our courses than they have of them,” said Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols. “Nick has been one of the biggest supporters of the First Tee Program at Mohawk Golf Course that is helping our youth in Tulsa, and he has also demonstrated a willingness and ability to raise private money to support the golf courses in the past.
