Ghana Armed Forces arrest man behind viral ‘protocol recruitment’ video

A statement issued by the Department of Public Relations of the GAF on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, noted that further investigations revealed that the suspect, identified as Alex Cobbinah, had uploaded several videos on social media impersonating a military officer.

“Further investigations revealed that the said young man has uploaded several other videos on social media wearing military accoutrements, pretending to be a soldier. The Military Police commenced investigations and successfully located and arrested the individual involved. He was identified as Alex Cobbinah, who resides at Madina Zongo Junction in Accra,” it noted.
