Donald Trump has declared himself the winner of the 2024 US presidential election over Kamala Harris, and celebrities have taken to social media to react.
Moments ahead of his speech – in which Trump promised to help America ‘heal’ – Fox News, a right-wing broadcaster, and NBC, a left-wing broadcaster, said Trump had triumphed over Democrat candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris after a tough fight.
Key states won by Trump include Georgia, Pennsylvania and Texas, after the result tipped in his favour overnight from Indiana, West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama and Oklahoma all voting red.
