The finale of Good Omens will be reduced from an entire season to a single 90 minute episode following sexual assault allegations against showrunner Neil Gaiman.
Gaiman, who also co-penned the Good Omens novel, faces accusations by five women related to behavior between 1986 and 2022. These claims include sexual assault, kissing and groping. One woman came forward to share her experience being groped by Gaiman on a tour bus in 2013 and later paid $60,000.
The accusations against Gaiman, 63, began in July of this year with the release of the podcast, “Master: The Allegations Against Neil Gaiman.” The six-episode audio series was produced over the course of nine months and was substantiated by documented evidence shared by the women. Two of the women, referenced as K and Scarlett, admit they were in consensual relationships with Gaiman, but the noted events were nonconsensual.
