ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz will campaign across Georgia for the Harris-Walz campaign on Oct. 31., representatives say.
As both campaigns make the final push in key battleground states, which includes Georgia, Walz will travel to metro Atlanta, Macon, Albany and Valdosta to build on Vice President Kamala Harris’ momentum in the state, according to representatives.
The Minnesota first lady will be doing direct voter engagement and is expected to speak about key issues like reproductive care and voting rights, campaign representatives say.
The visits come just a day before early voting ends in Georgia, where almost 3 million ballots have already been cast.
Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance held a rally in downtown Atlanta on Saturday.
