IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has opened up about calling out Jake Paul for a fight. The latter was seen in action last weekend against Mike Tyson in what was the first-ever live sporting event to be streamed on Netflix.
While Paul managed to secure a unanimous decision victory, he faced a lot of criticism for fighting a 58-year-old. Since then, a number of fighters have called out Paul for a potential fight including Dubois.
The call-out by Dubois was certainly surprising and he recently spoke about the same. The heavyweight champion suggested that despite it being for publicity, he is willing to fight Paul inside the squared circle. He said:
“If Jake wants it with me, he can get it… We messaged him, my dad, and everyone decided, ‘Yeah, let’s call him out.’ Even though it’s just publicity, you never know what can happen in this sport. It’s strange …
