Hive Digital Technologies Expands Hashrate Capacity with Major Miner Upgrades and Paraguay Expansion [Video]

Hive Digital Technologies Chief Financial Officer Darcy Daubaras joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announced significant fleet enhancements with the purchase of 5,000 Avalon A15-194T ASIC miners, following an earlier acquisition of 6,500 Avalon miners this month. This brings the November total to 11,500 new miners, underscoring the company’s commitment to cutting-edge operational upgrades.

The new equipment will replace older miners, improving efficiency from 22.3 J/TH to an industry-leading 19.5 J/TH and boosting Hive’s operational capacity from 5.6 EH/s to 6.4 EH/s by the end of 2025. The upgrades align with Hive’s ROI-driven capital allocation strategy and commitment to maintaining its leadership in mining efficiency.
