Social media users have lauded a German shorthaired pointer for standing her ground and refusing to budge when sitting in her owner’s seat.
Dog owner Jane Watkins shared a video on TikTok (@jane.ashley1) showing the hilarious tussle for the front spot between her husband, Frank Watkins, and their dog, Pepe.
Although she was originally put in the back, Pepe climbed into the front so she could stake her claim on the passenger seat before Frank tried to get in. Even when Frank attempted to move her across, Pepe simply refused, leaving him no option but to slide in next to her.
Jane, from New Zealand, couldn’t help but laugh as she watched this all unfold from the driver’s seat. She told Newsweek that Pepe tends is very stubborn, and there was “no way she was moving” from that seat.
Thankfully for Frank, it was only a short journey home, so he wasn’t squashed beside the mischievous dog for too long.
