Jean Rather, wife of Dan Rather, dies in Austin at age 89 [Video]

According to the post, Jean Rather had been battling cancer and was in hospice care. She died surrounded by her loved ones at the couple’s Austin home early Tuesday morning.

Jean and Dan Rather were married for 67 years after meeting at a Houston radio station.
