Jim Ross Recalls “Waste Of Time” Being Burned By Kane In WWE [Video]

Jim Ross had no issue with the physicality of being ‘burned alive’ by Kane in 2003, though he found the segment to be a complete waste of time.

During the July 14, 2003 edition of WWE RAW, the famed BBQ lover was cooked by the Big Red Machine during an interview segment between the two.

On a recent edition of his “Grilling JR” podcast, Ross discussed the segment and why he feels it didn’t achieve much in the long run. He said,

“I didn’t mind doing it because they had a stunt double come in, and they burned him. They just wanted me to scream, which I did. But I thought it was a waste of time. Because it’s unrealistic. It’s was unbelievable. So while your moms are turning the channel because it’s not appropriate for their kids to watch, you have a lot of other fans saying, ‘Why are they doing this?’
