Head coach Erik Spoelstra is a product of the famous Miami Heat culture. He started as a video coordinator for the franchise back in 1995 and slowly climbed the ladder within the organization.

30 years later, Spoelstra is currently tied for the third spot in the NBA’s highest-paid coaches list this season as he makes $15 million annually with the Heat.

While there is no doubt about coach Spo’s skills as the Heat’s tactician, former NBA champ Kendrick Perkins wants him to do one major task for the organization.
