LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Louisville Water Company said Tuesday that its customers’ bills will go up in 2025.
The utility’s board approved the 2025 budget Tuesday, the largest in company history at $191 million. The budget includes a monthly average increase of $1.20 for residential water customers. That means a customer who uses 4,000 gallons of water a month would pay about $29 for their water services.
The increase starts Jan. 1.
Louisville Water officials said more than half of the budget will go to infrastructure projects, including replacing old mains, installing new lines and improving treatment.
