On Friday, Oct. 11, Kevin Mares filed a lawsuit in Fulton County, naming the companies behind the production, security and location of the video as defendants.
The shooting happened on May 14 in a shopping plaza at 2179 Verbena Street NW in the Dixie Hills neighborhood.
Multiple 911 calls were made from the set of the music video and also from people living across the street who heard the gunfire. In one of the 911 calls released Monday, you could hear gunshots still being fired in the background as witnesses were trying to get help for those victims who had been injured.
