The heartbreaking truth of Stevie and Rose

One of Mackinnon’s favourite storylines to revisit involved Stevie’s complex relationship with her secret daughter Rose, played by Basia A’Hern.

To this day, watching the pivotal moment from Season 5, Episode 24 (Betwixt and Between), where Rose learns that Stevie gave her away to be raised by her sister, Michelle, Mackinnon couldn’t help but get emotional.
